There are a LOT more trucks in ETS2, however I am only going to stick with like 2 or 3 brands that I like so it makes no difference to me (young scania main here but volvo is seducing). ATS looks a bit better since it is a newer game, but also because of that it does not have as much content yet. No idea what it means though.īesides the little details they feel like playing the same game. So far I haven't strayed far from those, just starting out) Signs in Germany also say "Ausfahrt" which is another plus. (you can drive wherever you want! but the default routes your GPS sends you correlate to what I am describing, is what I mean. In ATS you will spend more time on bigger highways, interacting with more traffic, which is more familiar to me. The highways are a little different and you normally don't stay on them for long. Traffic lights in America are across the road, in Europe for the most part they seem to be outside your passenger window? In ETS2 you will be spending more time on long, winding country roads at a steady speed. Flat-nosed trucks vs long-nosed trucks, they handle a little differently and have different visibility. I thought the little differences between driving in the US vs Europe was pretty interesting. American non-driver here, I spent about 10 hrs on the demos of both games and decided on ETS2.
