What I am asking for is some pointers on where I might start looking for the source code files so that I can attempt to remedy this problem, although any help will be much appreciated. Now all of the Lexicon USB Desktop Recording Interfaces operate on any computers running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7, Vista, or XP. Lexicon has released new Windows 7 software drivers for Alpha, Lambda, Omega and the IONIX U22, U42S, and U82S series of Desktop Recording Interfaces. Do I have to recompile the whole kernel? The snd_usb_audio module? The usb module? Not every PC has a FireWire interface or a PCI slot, and not everyone wants to get them. Drivers update support for all devices to include Windows 7. The only problem is that I have no idea where to start. Delivers Lexicon stability and signal quality in a very affordable interface. My only thought right now is to patch the module responsible for throwing the error so that it handles the way the interfaces are numbered when this particular device is connected to. Right now when I record I use the Lambda for getting input from microphones and I use my onboard soundcard to output sound to my monitors. It works fine other than the fact that I can't get it to run in duplex mode. I have a Lexicon Lambda USB audio interface.
